Both of us started reading The Hunger Games during the tour and we got so absorbed by the first volume we ended up searching the French book stores for both the sequel and the third volume because we couldn’t stop reading. Well in Grenoble we played at a nice old theater in front of a sitting audience, together with German artist Dillon. The light technician was really good making the scene setting feel dark and mysterious. We got a beer tap in our dressing room, but couldn’t figure out how to pour the beer without getting all the foam in it, so we eventually had to go and order in the bar instead. The evening was sold out in advance and even though it can be a little strange playing in front of sitting audience, it was a great show. Grenoble is absolutely beautiful with all the high mountains surrounding the city. In the evening we played live at a radio show called Planet Claire and our friend Valerie who’s filmed us for her website ilovesweden.net came and kept us company.</p> <p>We had such a great time in Paris. We’ve both been there before but only during Christmas when it was freezing and everything was closed. It was a great night, the place was crowded and the other bands were really good, especially Dum Dum Girls. We were supposed to do a photo shoot up on the roof before the show but security had us get down from there, apparently this wasn’t approved of. We also did an odd but fun web interview for cafebabel.com where we had to act out some scenes from a French movie. It will be up in a few weeks. Afterwards we sat down at café together with Erwan, our promo guy, and did a phone interview, but the place was so noisy, we had a real hard time hearing the journalist at the other end. But hopefully we answered somewhat correctly. We accidentally set our GPS to only show non toll road descriptions, so we got to see a lot of beautiful French country nature, even though the drive took us a while. Well in Tulle we had a day off to just hang out in the city. Tulle is also very beautiful, a little bigger than Vindelle and placed in the hills. We played at a Swedish culture festival together with Swedish pop star Britta Persson. The village was super charming and all the people who worked at the festival were really nice. The venue had visitors from all over the area and all ages. We lived in a small country house with both sheep and hens at our backyard.
